Check with your local municipality for permit regulations. Residents of the City of Philadelphia can obtain permits here https://business.phila.gov/dumpster-license-public-right-of-way/

Our License Number is : #402772 (You will need this number to obtain a permit in Philadelphia)

We recommend placing the container on a dry, level surface, that will ensure easy access for the driver to remove the container when you are finished.

Driveways are one of the most common places customers ask us to place the dumpster. Due to the weight of the dumpster and the truck there is a risk of damaging your driveway. We cannot be held responsible for damages. We recommend that the customer protect any surface where the dumpster is being placed with a couple of 4’ x 8’ sheets of plywood or 2”x 10” pieces of wood.

One day notice is always preferred but in most cases, we can deliver the dumpster the same day. We understand how important a dumpster can be to keeping a project on schedule. Give us a call at 215-423-5200 to check availability.

The size of dumpster you need depends on the size of your material you have to put in it. Our website includes a dumpster selection guide that will give you the dimensions of our dumpsters as well as projects they are most commonly used for. If you’re still not sure, just give us a call and one of our trained and experienced representatives will offer the best solution for you.

Each dumpster has the load level marked. Do not exceed the sides of the dumpster. Overloading the dumpster creates a safety hazard on the road.

Please refrain from putting the following hazardous materials in the dumpster:

-Hazardous waste, dirt, industrial waste, chemical products, oil filters, herbicides & pesticides, radioactive material, solvents, paint (except completely dried latex paint cans, no liquids)

-flammable liquids, aerosol cans, propane tanks, motor oil, transmission oil/lubricating/hydraulic oil/oil filters, contaminated oils (mixed with solvents, gasoline, etc.)

-antifreeze, appliances, petroleum-contaminated soil/lead paint chips, tires, e-waste (electronic waste), batteries, computers, televisions, mobile phones, microwaves, fluorescent tubes, medical waste, asbestos, railroad ties, animals, barrels, all liquids

Dirt, brick and concrete are all acceptable materials but when mixed with trash can put you over the tonnage capacity very easily. Please separate whenever possible.

Each dumpster comes with a generous rental period. If you’d like to extend your rental period a fee may be assessed for additional days.

We make every effort to ensure prompt service. When your dumpster is ready call or email us at service service@tswaste.com and we’ll have your dumpster removed within 48 hrs.
