Program Description
Tri-State Waste & Recycling offers an SMS/text messaging program to customers who have consented to receive text messages regarding their service. Messages sent through this program relate to scheduling, delivery and pickup confirmations, billing follow-ups, and general account communication for roll-off container rental and waste hauling services.
Types of Messages You May Receive
Messages sent through this program may include, but are not limited to:
- Delivery and pickup scheduling or confirmations
- Notifications regarding delivery issues (e.g. site access problems)
- Responses to quote requests
- Billing and account balance follow-ups
All messages are sent by a member of our Customer Service team and are conversational in nature. We do not send automated marketing or promotional text messages through this program.
Consent and Opt-In
By providing your mobile phone number and agreeing to receive text messages — whether verbally during a phone call with our Customer Service team or by checking the consent box on our website — you consent to receive SMS/text messages from Tri-State Waste & Recycling related to your service, as described above. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service; customers who do not consent will be contacted by phone call instead.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your service activity and may include multiple messages during an active order or none in a given period if there is no service activity requiring contact.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Tri-State Waste & Recycling does not charge any fee to send or receive text messages.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will not receive further text messages from us unless you opt back in. Opting out of text messages does not affect your ability to receive phone calls or continue service with us.

Supported Carriers
Our SMS program is available on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Information collected through this SMS program is handled in accordance with our SMS Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page.
